Bikeability Card
Cycle and save with the new Bikeability card
Selected school children across the country now have even more incentive to get saddled up and take their Bikeability.
The new Bikeability discount card, which offers exclusive discounts at a range of outlets from Barratts to Tenpin and EA
Games, has been launched in six areas of England to encourage more children to achieve their Bikeability and complete all
three levels.
In a unique pilot scheme, children completing Bikeability between now and the end of the summer term in the following areas will be entitled to receive the Bikeability card:
York, Bristol (in secondary schools only for the duration of the pilot), South Gloucestershire, Derby, Exeter and Brighton
There are a wide range of exciting discounts on offer with new names being added all the time. As an incentive to complete all three Bikeability levels the discount received by children rises as they progress to Level 3. There really is something for everyone whether you are looking to save on CDs, new shoes or of course a new bike. Here are just a few of the retailers signed up:
If you are a lucky cardholder, don’t forget to check www.bikeabilitydiscounts.co.uk regularly for the latest updates on new retailer discounts available.
Would you like to see the Bikeability card introduced in your area? If the pilot scheme is successful, we will be looking to roll the card out nationwide, so do please email your feedback and thoughts to pressenquiries@bikeability.org.uk
