Equal Opportunities
Equality of opportunity is understood to offer fair, equal and respectful treatment to all individuals. Having an equal opportunities policy in place should remove unfair and discriminatory practices, encourage individual talent and ability and value differences.
Independent Organisations
Many large organisations will already have an equal opportunities policy which you can evidence and incorporate into your cycle training course management. If you do not have an existing policy then you can download the example below:

Sole Traders
Sole traders also need to adopt an equal opportunities policy. The policy should include a general statement on your commitment to the principles of equal opportunities, covering trainees and any other participants in your training. An example sole trader equal opportunities statement is available for download below. It is good practice to adapt this document to suit the needs of your training scheme.
