Cycling UK

Cycling UK is the national cycling charity with an ambition to inspire a million more people to cycle by 2024. Through a series of behaviour change programmes, events and campaigning, its vision is to create happier, healthier, less polluted and less congested communities because more people cycle.

Cycling UK has championed the cause of cycling for more than 140 years.

It encourages and promotes cycling for people of all ages and backgrounds, championing everyday cycling for everyone.

The charity runs the annual Bike Week celebrations in June, the Big Bike Revival, and every year puts on its Women’s Festival of Cycling to encourage more women to cycle.

The Bikeability Trust supports the work that Cycling UK does to encourage more people to cycle, and realises the opportunities that Cycling UK offers Bikeability trainees and their families to continue cycling after training for sport, leisure and utility journeys – helping to make cycling a life-long habit.
