August update

Thank you for helping us reach record delivery! 

Hopefully you have seen the fantastic delivery stats we published last month. We are in a great place, thanks to your hard work and dedication to helping as many children and adults access cycling skills as possible. These figures put us in a great position when lobbying the new government for the funding we need. If you saw my update from July you know what we are asking of them to secure a future for Bikeability. Now we need to keep going, and show them exactly why investing in cycle training is vital and will help them achieve many of their goals in office.  

In addition to letting everyone know about our excellent delivery stats, we have also invited as many MPs as possible to visit you during Cycle to School Week. We’ve had a lot of interest so far, and hope we will be able to welcome lots of local MPs to show them exactly what Bikeability training can and does do for their constituents. If you are planning any events during Cycle to School Week, please consider inviting your MP to attend – and if you do so, let us know and we can coordinate messaging. 

In the meantime, all of us at the Trust would like to wish you all a fantastic summer! We’re sure you’ll come back refreshed, recharged and ready to continue delivering the gold standard in cycle training that is Bikeability!
