It’s nearly time to find out who the winners are at this year’s Celebration of Bikeability!

We have had hundreds of amazing entries, showcasing all the sensational cyclists out there. From the instructor giving the most, to the Bikeability rider who has overcome difficulties to get pedalling, there are lots of inspirational stories this year. 

We will be announcing the winners across our social media channels tomorrow, Friday 17 November from 7am in the morning until 5:30pm – don’t miss out on finding out who the winners are!  

We also have amazing presenters lined up to announce the awards, including former Olympic athletes and cyclists, MPs and journalists! 

The categories are: 

Bikeability Instructor of the Year 

Supported by Madison, the winner will receive a Park Tool SK4 Tool Kit.
This award recognises an individual who goes above and beyond to provide outstanding cycle training.  

Rising Star Award

Supported by Beryl, the winner will receive a Pixel light.
This award recognises an individual who has recently joined Bikeability and made a positive impact.

Young Cyclist of the Year (Pete Rollings Award)

Supported by Frog Bikes, the winner will receive a Frog children’s cycle.
This award recognises a young individual who has excelled during Bikeability cycle training.  

Family of the Year

Supported by Natwest Rooster Money, the winning family will receive Rooster Cards for the children and £500 cash provided by the Bikeability Trust.
This award recognises a family of any description who love cycling.

School of the Year

Supported by GO Outdoors & Wild bikes, the winning school will receive 3x children’s cycles.
This award recognises a school who has embraced and encouraged Bikeability cycle training. 

Small Organisation of the Year

Supported by Flare, the winning organisation will receive Flare premium for the whole team.
This award recognises an organisation that has contributed to the success of Bikeability and provides a high-quality service.  

Large Organisation of the Year

Supported by Decathlon, the winning organisation will receive a £750 voucher.
This award recognises a large organisation that has contributed to the success of Bikeability and provides a high-quality service. 

Personal Achievement Award 

Supported by Squish, the winner will receive a children’s cycle or product courtesy of TGC.
This award recognises an individual who has overcome challenges to succeed or have made a significant personal achievement despite personal or external challenges.

People’s Champion Award

Supported by GO Outdoors, the winner will receive £100 to spend on cycling.
Voted for by YOU, the public. A shortlist of nominees & their stories will be posted on social media for the public to vote their People’s Champion.  

Lifetime Achievement Award

This award recognises an individual who has committed their career to Bikeability.
