Enter our Tour de France themed competition to win a cycle 

It’s that time of year again when hundreds of professional cyclists sweep through the beautiful French countryside and cities to take on one of the biggest races in the cycling calendar.  

The race was first organized in 1903 to increase sales for the sporting newspaper L’Auto and has been held nearly every year since. It’s the most prestigious of the three cycle races known as the Grand Tours, with teams from all over the world taking part. 

Although the route changes every year, it passes through the mountains of the Pyrenes and the Alps and finishes on the Champs-Élysées in Paris. The riders cover over 3,500 kilometre (2,200 miles) over 23 days, the tour is nicknamed the Grand Boucle, or Great Loop. 

If the sight of yellow, green and polka dot jersey inspire you to get out on your cycle, why not enter our competition.
