We are proud to support Local Bike Shop Day 2023, a day that promotes fantastic local cycle shops.
The day brings independent bike shops across the UK together to celebrate their distinctive culture. It’s the day for local bike shops to showcase their passion, knowledge and personalised service they offer to their local communities.
This year the day takes place on Saturday 29 April, with shops all around the country taking part in the festivities. Why not drop in to your local shop, say hi and find out more about what they do and how they can help you get cycling. They have a wealth of expertise and enthusiasm for cycling, so they are the perfect people to talk to for any support and help you might need.
There will also be lots happening on social media, if you follow Local Bike Shop Day you can find offers at local shops and other fun things taking place! You can find them on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
They are also looking for great consumer stories – have you got a great experience with your local cycle shop that you want to share? Post it on social media and make sure to tag them in and use the hashtag # SupportYourLocalBikeShop.
This bank holiday weekend why not pop down to your local cycle shop and see what they’re up to! It’s also the perfect time for a ride, have a look at our blog on planning cycle routes for more ideas.
