What is Link?
Link is a system to store information on Bikeability professionals. You can use it to list information about your business. You will also use it to upload documents for your registration and renewals.
As well as the information on this page, we have put together a guide to using Link for training providers you can access here.
Getting started: log in
You can add a new user to your training provider account at any time. Email contactus@bikeability.org.uk with the new user’s full name and email address. The Bikeability Trust will create a new account for the user and they will receive a welcome email. The welcome email will include a link to the Link system to create a password and sign into the system.
You can log into Link using your email address and password.
Forgotten passwords can be reset through the sign in page.
If you are also a grant recipient or instructor, your Link profile will have access to more than one account. You can find out more about using Link as a grant recipient here and as an instructor here.
Why do I need to use Link?
You must register, submit documents and complete your renewal using Link.
People looking for cycle training can use our website to find training near them. As a registered training provider, you will appear on this search. This information comes from Link, so it is important to keep your details up to date.
The website will share your company name, email address, telephone number and website. It will also show the areas you offer cycle training, as well as which courses you offer. Select the “details” tab to update these.
Keep your contact information up to date
It is important to keep your information on Link up to date. We will contact you using your email address and telephone numbers recorded on Link.
You can provide a primary and a secondary email address. We will send automated emails about your Link profile to these. We will also send our monthly newsletter and other communications to these.
If you need to update users on your account, email contactus@bikeability.org.uk
Your instructors
You must also associate your instructors with your account. To do this, go to “associated instructors” and “add” the correct account. You can search for instructors by their name or ID number.
You will be able to view your instructors’ status, ID and qualification. Please remove instructors who no longer work for you.
If you cannot find an instructor, ask them to email contactus@bikeability.org.uk so the Trust can add them to Link.
Your grant recipient
Your grant recipient will associate you to their account. You cannot do this, so if you are not linked please talk to your grant recipient. If you are incorrectly associated with a grant recipient, please email contactus@bikeability.org.uk.
Uploading documents
You can find out more about uploading documents in our registration requirements section.
You must upload all your required documents to Link. Select “documents” then “upload” to add these to your account.
Please review and update your documents regularly to ensure they are up to date.
Ordering award materials
You can buy certificates and badges on our online shop. Select “options” on Link and choose “buy materials”. You be automatically logged into the shop.
You can also access the shop on the website here. You must log in using your Link credentials.
Renewals
Each year, you must renew your training provider profile on Link. This gives you the opportunity to review the documents and processes you have in place. You must complete your renewals each year because it is a requirement of the Department for Transport.
You will be sent an automatic reminder email asking you to complete your renewal. To avoid deregistration, complete the renewal by the deadline.
Click here to complete your training provider renewal. If you are a grant recipient and training provider you must complete both renewals.
We are always happy to help with your renewal. Email contactus@bikeability.org.uk for support.
