Thanks to a generous bequest of specialist disability cycles, a Lancashire based Bikeability training provider will be able to offer more inclusive, tailored cycle training across the county, as soon as Covid permits!
60 schools in Hertfordshire received Bikeability certificates in recognition of their achievements ensuring pupils receive Bikeability training. The certificate not only showcases the school's dedication to cycle training, it can also contribute to accreditation schemes such as Modeshift STARS.
Alazar Sahele is a rider with cerebal palsy. His cycling achievements are credited to his and his family’s determination to look for solutions rather than barriers towards cycling. In 2020 he won the Bikeability Trainee of the Year Award.
